      2018-2019 Annual Catalog Cover

It’s that time of year again – the new Stampin’ Up! catalog is on its way to your hands – and it’s time for you to think about when you can get a chance to hostess an event to earn your discount . What’s the most exciting thing about this new Annual Catalog? I think it is the Color Revamp. Stampin’ Up! did a great job determining the colors to retain, return, retire, and reveal. The enclosed sheet is a listing and sample of the colors that are in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog, including the new In-Colors. And, who else has caught themselves saying Booberry Bushel (wish they had used that name).

If you are in town (central Arkansas), I will be out and about in the next few weeks and can deliver catalogs to you. Email or text me at (501) 240-7581. For others, I can mail you a hard copy or you can access it online at on my SU storefront.    I am getting my summer and fall dates organized for Happy Hostesses, Card Class Cuties, and  Technique Tryouts.  What are those things, you ask? Well, let me explain.

Happy Hostess

Hostess a party and you can earn free goodies!A Happy Hostess is a friend who organizes a two-hour window of time for me to demonstrate the basics of paper crafting for she and her friends. While I’m there, I will show a number of different cards and items. The hostess and her guests will make one of those items and take it home that night. The Happy Hostess should invite at least twice – if not three times – the people she would like to have attend the party so that there will be plenty of people atending. She should start inviting people about three or four weeks in advance of the event. And then, let me know their names and contact info. I will follow up with prior to the party.

On the day of the event, it is nice to have some very light refreshments -nothing heavy or elaborate, just water and a little snack would be good. After the demonstration and the make-n-take activity, I will work with the guests to determine where they would like to start coloring their dreams through paper crafting. At the end of the evening the hostess will place her orders and will benefit from the Hostess Rewards which are based on a percentage of the total sales at the event. This is a great way to start paper crafting and a fun time for you and your friends.

Card Class Cuties

Attend a party or host one of your own to learn new and exciting techniques and develop mad paper crafting skills. What are Card Class Cuties? Once a month I host a card class. It’s two-hours of fun times! This summer I plan to change it up a bit and try it on some different nights. During the school year it is  difficult to find a single night (or even two nights) the will work with everyone’s schedule. Coming up, I will have a class on Thursday, June 21 (6:30 – 8:30) at my house. We will concentrate on masculine birthday cards and make a card or two for Fathers’ Day. The class supply fee is $15 payable in advance (via PayPal or Facebook payment) — or free with a minimum order that night. In return, you will receive six cards (two each of three designs) ready for you to share with others immediately.  Future dates will be set when our summer plans are more definite.

Technique Tryouts

And, finally,  Technique Tryouts is a series of lessons that I will be offering for people who want to push the envelope with their paper crafting. These classes will be offered in person. This will be on a monthly basis, similar to the Card Class Cuties and will also require a reservation and prepayment due to the need for technique-specific supplies.  Most of the classes will be in the $20 range. At this class, you will be able to learn a new technique and try it out on a card or decor item.  More details will be forthcoming.

Call or text me (5012407581) or email me to plan your Girls’ Night Out, a Mother-Daughter-Sister-Aunt event, or a Kids Craft Time. And, of course, as always if the dates I have published do not match your calendar then lets’s set a special time – just for you.

If this looks like fun to you, I’d love to have you on my team.  If you don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I’d love to help you out with that.

Keep Dreaming –
