Way To Do It Wednesday [Techniques]

Welcome to “Way To Do It Wednesday” where I will present videos that show the “Way To Do It” for a number of techniques.  Some of these videos are by Stampin’ Up! and some will be from other contributors.  Do you want to be featured on my blog with one of your videos?  Post it on You Tube and share your link with me.  I might just link to it for a WTDIW installment.

We are such a visual society that sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words — and a video is worth a million.  Without further ado – here is Episode 1: Calligraphy Essentials.  You can find this set  in the Annual Catalog.  After you watch this video, plan to attend a class I will offer this fall.  Let me know you are interested in learning more new techniques by filling out the following form to stay connected with my newsleter.

Tricks you learn with this kit can be transferred to other stamp sets in the Annual and Occasions Catalogs.  Anytime you want to stamp something and then make it look hand-drawn, stamp first in Sahara Sand  (after stamping off or using a second generation image).  You can color with watercolor pencils or any of the Stampin’ Blends.  And, there are new colors coming out in the Occasions Catalog (insert squeal)!!   After you color the image, the base ink will sort of disappear.  It’s a great technique to have in your arsenal.  Let me know if you are interested in learning more techniques.  My Techniques Class is forming now and spaces are filling up.
